Delivery & Files

Everything sold here is a file, so delivery means an email with a link in it. This page says what is in the download, when it is sent, how long the link lives and what you need at your end to open it.

What arrives

The files: The editable documents listed on the kit's own page, and a PDF guide to editing and saving them. Kit by kit:

How it is packed: One download for each kit, holding that kit's files and its guide. A basket with three kits in it is three downloads, not one folder with everything loose in it.
What is not sent: Nothing on paper, nothing in the post and no physical item of any kind. There is no printed edition of a kit and none is planned.

When it arrives

The ordinary case

Once payment has gone through and the kit has been released for sale, the link is sent to the address given with the order. A kit is only ever offered for sale once its files, previews, guide and licence are finished, so "released" is a condition on the shop rather than on the buyer.

If you asked for it immediately

The link goes as soon as payment has gone through. That is what the first tick box at the checkout asks for, and giving both answers there ends the right to cancel for what is then supplied. The Cancellation & Refunds page sets that out in full.

If you did not

The order stands and the link is held until the 14-day cancellation period has ended, then sent. Nothing goes wrong because of it, and the right to cancel runs in full throughout.

Today

Ordering is not open yet: the kit files are still being finished, so nothing can be bought and nothing is charged.

Nothing can be delivered because nothing can be bought. This page describes delivery as it will work, and it is published now so that it can be read before rather than after.

The download link

How long it lives: A download link stays live for 30 days from the order and can be used up to 5 times.
If it expires or runs out: Write to inbox@yelvora.tech with the order number and a fresh link is sent at no charge. The 30-day limit and the 5 downloads are there to keep an old link from circulating, not to make you buy the kit twice.
Keep your own copy: Save the files somewhere of your own when they arrive. A link is a delivery, not a library, and the shop does not keep an account for you to log back into.

If nothing arrives

First: Look in the spam or junk folder, and check the address you gave for a typo: an email with a link in it to an address that is one letter out is the commonest reason for a download that never came.
Then: Write to inbox@yelvora.tech with the order number. A message is answered within two working days, and a missing link is resent to whichever address you name, at no charge.
If it still cannot be delivered: You get your money back in full. A file that cannot be delivered has not been supplied, and there is nothing to argue about.

What you need at your end

To open the documents: Microsoft Word for the DOCX files and Microsoft PowerPoint for the PPTX files, which edit them as laid out. Google Docs and Slides, LibreOffice, Pages and Keynote will open them, and spacing and fonts can move on the way in. Each kit page lists what that kit expects.
To read the guide: Any PDF reader, including the one already in your browser.
To receive the link: An email address that works, and a browser to follow the link in. Nothing is installed.

Costs that are not part of the price

Software: No licence for Word, PowerPoint or anything else is included with a kit, and none is sold here. If you do not already have something that opens DOCX and PPTX files, that is a cost of your own, and free applications that open both exist.
Printing: Printing anything you make is yours to arrange and pay for. Nothing here is printed for you and no print service is included in any price.
Everything else: Your internet connection, and whatever you keep your own files on. The price of a kit is the price of the kit: 8 kits, one payment each, nothing that renews.
