The basket
Kits go in when you press the button on one, and only then. Nothing is added for you, no kit is suggested into the basket behind your back, and a kit is licensed once so there is no quantity to set.
Reading your basket…
In this browser, on this device, and nowhere else. Nothing about it reaches the shop, and clearing your browser storage empties it. There is no account here to make and none to log in to.
Catalogue prices in pounds sterling, added up fresh every time the list is drawn, so a basket left open for a fortnight cannot show you a price the shop no longer lists.
The checkout: the whole amount, two questions about when the download should start, and then the files. A download link stays live for 30 days from the order and can be used up to 5 times.
Ordering is not open yet: the kit files are still being finished, so nothing can be bought and nothing is charged. The basket still works, and the checkout is worth opening: it sets out the whole amount and the two questions regulation 37 turns on, so you can see exactly what will be asked before anything can be bought.
