Exercises and structure examples for the three short pieces of writing a profile asks for: a headline, a summary and a run of roles.
A professional profile asks for writing that most people never practise: a line describing what you do, a few paragraphs describing how you do it, and a run of role entries that are neither a CV nor an advertisement. This kit is exercises for drafting those three from your own material.
Each part has structure examples showing the shapes a headline, a summary or a role entry can take, and an exercise that gets you from your own notes to a draft of it. The exercises are the point: a profile assembled from somebody else’s sentences reads like it, and it is the first thing a reader compares with the person in front of them.
It is written for a written profile of any kind - a professional network, a personal site, the about page of a portfolio - rather than for one particular platform, because platforms change their fields and a kit written to those would go out of date on their schedule rather than yours.
This list is what the finished files have to hold. It is the description the kit is sold on, and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a file that does not match it is not as described.
No software licence is included with a kit and none is sold here: whatever you open the files in is yours to have already, and its cost is nothing to do with this shop.
The PDF guide in the download goes through all of this in detail, with the steps for saving a finished copy as a PDF.
Suggestions, and nothing more: neither of these is in your basket, and following a link here does not put it there. Each one carries its own button.
