What it is
A first application has a particular problem: the strongest material is coursework, a final-year project, a placement or a part-time job, and most CV layouts put those last because they expect a run of full-time roles to come first. This set is laid out the other way round, with room near the top for study and project work and a shorter run of employment below it.
The cover letter is built in the same styles as the CV, so the two arrive looking like one piece of work. It is a structure with prompts rather than a finished letter: you write the paragraphs, because a letter that reads as though somebody else wrote it is worth less than a plain one that is yours.
The guide is a PDF that goes through the set section by section - which blocks to keep, which to delete, what to do when a section is empty, and how to save a copy as PDF before sending.
What is in the download
This list is what the finished files have to hold. It is the description the kit is sold on, and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a file that does not match it is not as described.

What it opens in
- Microsoft Word for Windows or macOS opens and edits the DOCX files as laid out
- Google Docs, LibreOffice Writer and Pages will open them, and spacing and fonts may move on the way in

No software licence is included with a kit and none is sold here: whatever you open the files in is yours to have already, and its cost is nothing to do with this shop.
How you edit it
- Open the DOCX, type over the sample lines and delete any block you do not need.
- The headings and dates are ordinary Word styles, so changing a style changes every heading at once.
- Save your finished copy as PDF from Word before sending it, so that the layout arrives as you left it.

What it does not do
- It is a document you complete yourself. Nothing is written, checked or sent for you.
- No claim is made about applicant tracking software: how a particular employer’s system reads a file is outside this shop’s control and nothing here is tested against one.
- No job, interview or reply is promised with it. Yelvora sells documents and nothing else.
