You may cancel a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. You do not have to have opened the file, you do not have to explain, and you are not asked to.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancelling an order, getting money back, and what happens if a file is faulty or is not what its page said it was.
There is no "all sales are final" on this page and there could not be: a blanket refusal to refund would be unlawful. What there is instead is a plain account of a right that runs for 14 days, and of the single thing that can shorten it, which is your own decision at the checkout.

The 14-day right
- What it is
- When it starts
On the day the contract is made, which is the day the order confirmation is sent. What is sold here is a file rather than a parcel, so there is no delivery day to count from.
- What it covers
Every kit in the catalogue, all 8 of them, on the same terms. There is no kit sold as final, non-returnable or exempt.
Where this stands today
Read this first, so the rest of the page is read in the right tense.
- Ordering
Ordering is not open yet: the kit files are still being finished, so nothing can be bought and nothing is charged.
So nothing has been bought from this shop, no consent has been given at the checkout and no cancellation period is running for anybody. Everything below describes how a purchase will work, and it is published now so that it can be read before there is any question of agreeing to it.
- What you can already see
The two tick boxes are on the checkout now, switched off along with the rest of the order entry, exactly as they will be worded when ordering opens. Neither is ticked, there or in the page as it is built.
The statutory wording
- Where it comes from
Schedule 3 to the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 sets out wording that a seller may use. It is given below as the Schedule prints it, with the choices the Schedule leaves open filled in for a contract for digital content supplied as a download.
Right to cancel The words below are the Regulations’ own, set out as Schedule 3 prints them. Two things are done to it, and nothing else. The seller's details in brackets are what the Schedule tells the seller to insert. The closing paragraph, about paying a proportionate amount for services already performed, is left out: it belongs to a contract for services, and this is a contract for digital content, where the right to cancel is not shortened by part-performance but only in the way the next part of this page sets out. The passages about returning goods do not appear because nothing physical is sold here.
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Yelyzaveta Povaronkova trading as Yelvora, 90 Cumberland St, Macclesfield SK10 1BT, England, United Kingdom, inbox@yelvora.tech) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
The one way the 14 days can be shortened
- The rule
Regulation 37 of the 2013 Regulations allows the right to cancel to end early for digital content that has been supplied, and only where two things are both true:
- you gave express prior consent to the supply beginning inside the 14-day period; and
- you acknowledged that giving that consent ends your right to cancel what is then supplied, and that acknowledgement was kept.
Both are answered by you at the checkout, in two separate boxes, and neither is ticked in advance. Consent that arrives already ticked is not express consent and shortens nothing.
- How that reads in practice
Digital content supplied immediately (bought on the page) The words below are this shop’s own, written to do what the Regulations require. They are not statutory text.It follows the model paragraph this shop works from, with two differences, both of which ask more of the shop rather than less: the consent is taken in two boxes rather than one, because regulation 37 asks two separate things; and leaving them alone does not send you away to order by letter, it places the same order with the download held.
Where you buy digital material that is made available to you straight away, we ask for your express consent at the moment you place the order: the two boxes beside the order button ask, separately, for supply to begin immediately and for your acknowledgement that you will lose your right to cancel once it has begun. Neither is ever ticked for you, and an order cannot be placed through the button with one of them answered and the other not. If you give both and we begin to supply the material, the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies to it.
If you would rather not give that consent, leave the boxes alone and order anyway: we will not begin supplying the material until the 14-day cancellation period has ended, and you keep your right to cancel during that period.
Losing the right to cancel does not affect your legal rights if the material is faulty, not as described, or not fit for a purpose that you made known to us before you bought it. In those cases you may be entitled to a repair or replacement, a price reduction, or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- The whole position in one sentence
The right runs for 14 days, and the only thing that can cut it short is your own words at the moment of ordering, given in the way regulation 37 requires. Nothing else does it: not opening a file, not editing it, not the passing of time inside the 14 days, and nothing written anywhere on this site.
If you do not give both answers
- What happens
Nothing goes wrong. The order stands, and the download waits until the 14 days have passed, at which point the link is sent. Your right to cancel runs in full for the whole of that period, and cancelling during it costs you nothing.
- How it is treated
As an ordinary way to order, because it is one. Leaving a box alone is never treated as a mistake to be corrected by an email asking you to think again.
How to cancel
- Say so, in any clear statement
Email to inbox@yelvora.tech is quickest. Post to Yelyzaveta Povaronkova, 90 Cumberland St, Macclesfield SK10 1BT, England, United Kingdom, works just as well.
No particular form of words is needed. "I am cancelling my order" is enough, and so is the model form below. What helps is the order number and the date, so that the right order is found first time.
- What counts is when you send it
Not when it is read. A cancellation sent on the fourteenth day is in time even if it is opened the following morning.
- The model cancellation form
You may use this form, but you do not have to. It is set out as the Schedule prints it, square brackets and closing instruction included; the only thing filled in is the addressee, which is what the Schedule tells the seller to insert.

How a refund is paid
- When
Within 14 days of being told that you are cancelling. The money leaves this end inside that period; how long it then takes to appear on your statement is your card provider's business rather than this shop's.
- How
By the same means you paid by, unless you expressly agree to something else, and with no fee deducted: regulation 34 of the 2013 Regulations does not allow one.
- How much
The whole amount, because the whole amount was for the kit. There is no delivery charge to withhold and no administration fee to take out of it.
Faulty, or not as described
- The standard the files have to meet
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 digital content must be of satisfactory quality (s.34), fit for any particular purpose you made known before buying (s.35), and as described (s.36). A file that will not open, is missing something its kit page said it holds, or has fewer slide layouts or answer formats than the catalogue promised, falls short of that.
- What you are entitled to
A repair or a replacement (s.43), and where that cannot be done, or is not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, a price reduction which may be the whole price (s.44). This applies whether or not the 14-day cancellation period has ended, and nothing on this site takes it away: s.47 does not allow it to be taken away.
- How to raise it
Write to inbox@yelvora.tech and say what happened, with the order number. Where the fault is in the file, the answer is a corrected file, sent as soon as the problem is understood.
Things that are not a fault in the file
Said here so that nobody is surprised later, and not as a way of refusing anything in advance.
- Layout that moves in another application
DOCX and PPTX files are laid out for Word and PowerPoint. Google Docs, Google Slides, LibreOffice, Pages and Keynote will open them, and spacing and fonts can move on the way in. Each kit page says so before you buy.
- An application that was not successful
A kit is a document, not an outcome. Nothing here promises an interview, a reply or a job, and not getting one is not a fault in a file.
- Changes you made
A layout that has been rebuilt, or a step of the guide not followed. Ask and it will be looked at anyway: if something in the guide is what led you there, that is the guide's fault and not yours.
- What this list is not
A refusal in advance. If you think a file is wrong, write and say so, and it will be looked at properly rather than measured against this list. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in this part.
